At BigCommerce, Troy leads product strategy and the teams responsible for defining and designing the next generation of the BigCommerce platform. He and his teams are responsible for the product roadmap and the user experience across all customer segments.
Troy joined the company in 2012, initially working directly with the founders, and has seen the company through tremendous growth and product evolution. During his tenure at the company, he has been instrumental in taking the platform from its roots in serving small and medium sized businesses through to a sophisticated commerce platform optimized for mid-market and enterprise brands across both consumer and business-to-business markets.
Before joining BigCommerce, Troy has held product and engineering leadership positions for a number of technology startups, and early in his career, he spent 10 years at Microsoft in various product roles in the US and Australia. Troy graduated from the University of Minnesota with a bachelor of finance and IT. He currently lives in Sydney, Australia with his husband and three dogs.
