BigCommerce Internship - Singapore 

Are you looking for an Intern position that will provide you with hands-on experience to enable you to develop your Sales and Marketing skills?   This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and driven intern to gain real-world work experience in a global market-leading eCommerce technology company.

Our internship program is undertaken in a part-time capacity. Our internship start and end dates are flexible with regard to academic schedules and you’ll be expected to commit to at least three months initially with the option to extend. 

What we offer

Development and Training

As a BigCommerce Intern, You’ll:

  • Usually, work for 3 months on a part-time basis (minimum 2 days or 16 hours per week whilst you study).
  • Help build our prospect database by researching companies and contacts and inputting the data into our Salesforce CRM tool.
  • Reaching out to companies via phone, email, LinkedIn to confirm roles and responsibilities.
  • Work in a small local team environment where you’ll collaborate with others globally and continue to grow your skills.
  • Work with leading-edge technology to meet the challenges of the e-commerce industry.
  • Report to the local Singapore Director who will help you settle in, inspire you, oversee your work, help identify project goals, and support your professional development.
  • Have the opportunity to attend further training/learning such as attending regular talks given by various employees sharing their learning from conference attendance or from guest speakers we bring in from time to time to ensure we stay leading edge.

Minimum Qualifications:

We accept students from multiple disciplines – including Computer Science, Marketing and Business,  – as long as you can demonstrate a passion for the technology industry. 

Please note: You have to be currently enrolled at a Singapore educational institution & legally residing in Singapore at the time of your application to BigCommerce Pte. Ltd. 

 Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

  • Knowledge and familiarity with the Microsoft Office & Google suite of productivity applications
  • Comfortable speaking over the phone, attending meetings & events where you represent BigCommerce
  • Experience in CRM software is very desirable. 
  • Understanding the fundamentals of web applications.
