Starting the week of September 9, 2025, B2B Edition’s Buyer Portal fully supports orders with digital products. B2B Company users and B2C customers can now access digital product files and download them while viewing their past orders.
Why this matters
Previously, buyers who purchased digital products could download the product files like ebooks and manuals from their order confirmation email, but not while viewing the order from the Buyer Portal. Now, your buyers can instantly access digital product files directly from their storefront account.
Accessing digital products in the Buyer Portal
Support for digital products is available by default to all Buyer Portal experience stores, and applies to all existing orders — no additional setup is required. This feature is already active in stores using the legacy storefront experience.
To access their digital product files, buyers can log in to the Buyer Portal and navigate to My orders or Company orders. While viewing an order, they can click View Files to access each file included on a digital product.
The list displays the files as a numbered list, in the order they were added to the product. Buyers can click Download to access the file on their device.
