A B2B powerhouse that’s shaping the future of clean

If you’ve ever wiped down a treadmill or sanitized a fitness studio, there’s a good chance Zogics did it.

What started as a bold idea to create a better cleaning solution for gyms has grown into a multi-brand, tech-savvy business supplying wellness, cleaning, and bath-and-body products to thousands of customers worldwide.

But Zogics doesn’t just keep spaces clean — they’ve cleaned up their ecommerce strategy, too.

“We've been with BigCommerce for a long time, and the evolution has been amazing,” said Jeff Stripp, Chief Revenue Officer at Zogics.

CHALLENGE

Four times the complexity, without the flexibility.

Zogics' growth was intentional. Starting with a single product line, the company evolved into a portfolio of four distinct brands, each with its own storefront, SKUs, pricing, and customers. It was the kind of growth most teams dream about.

But that growth started on shaky ground. Their first ecommerce platform, Joomla, was still stuck in startup mode. It was limited in features, time-consuming to manage, and increasingly difficult to scale.

"We chose BigCommerce because it was the easiest to implement and the team was exceptional to work with," said Stripp.

This shift eliminated the technical debt of their previous platform, where basic tasks like editing product pages and managing orders had become operational drains.

The team knew it was time for a change and looked for a platform that could grow with them.

With thousands of customers and four brands, their ecommerce solution needed to support:

  • Tiered pricing for 10,000+ customers

  • GSA and corporate buyers with net-30 invoice terms

  • Managing tens of thousands of SKUs across constantly changing product catalogs

That search led them to BigCommerce.

“BigCommerce was just an easy solution for us because it had everything to migrate a Joomla store over,” said Stripp.

SOLUTION

A multi-brand business, built on a single platform.

Zogics didn’t just migrate to BigCommerce — they scaled with it.

What began as a single storefront has grown into four distinct brands, each running on its own BigCommerce Enterprise instance: Zogics, Ardent Fitness, The Cleaning Station, and Amenie

The brands operate independently, with their own teams and P&Ls, but are united under one Enterprise contract and a shared strategy. That structure gives Zogics the flexibility to move fast within each business, without losing cross-brand alignment.

Even more impressively, Zogics uses BigCommerce as a full-fledged order management system, powering invoice workflows, GSA accounts, and an 8,000-SKU catalog.

“It’s not just online transactions,” Jeff explained. “We’re managing our GSA customers and our corporate customers, which are all Net 30, paid-by-invoice customers, and tax-exempt organizations. We’re maximizing all of BigCommerce’s offerings, making it easier for our team to manage everything.”

The result: four brands, thousands of SKUs, and one platform that keeps everything moving.

Harnessing native B2B tools.

Independent gyms, studio owners, and national fitness franchises are Zogics’ most loyal customers. Corporate accounts, government and GSA buyers, hospitality and lodging, and DTC shoppers make up the rest of their customer base.

Zogics uses BigCommerce price lists and customer groups to tailor pricing by customer type. This setup ensures every buyer sees the right pricing without manual overrides, coupon codes, or duplicate SKUs.

Corporate accounts see pre-negotiated rates. GSA and government buyers access contract-specific pricing. Fitness centers and hotel chains get bulk discounts on the products they order most often. For DTC shoppers, standard pricing applies automatically at checkout.

By pairing price lists with customer groups, Zogics can offer personalized pricing at scale — all from a single product catalog.

“We use price lists and customer groups a lot. And that just makes the job so much easier for our team to manage,” shared Stripp.

The right partners and tools, all in sync.

Zogics doesn’t just plug in tools. They build systems that talk to each other: a tech stack where every integration plays a specific role in driving growth and streamlining the experience for both customers and their team.

First, it starts with Mira Commerce, a BigCommerce agency partner with deep platform expertise. Mira supports Zogics across all four stores, helping the team move fast, stay flexible, and solve challenges without added complexity.

“Mira Commerce has been amazing. We’ve worked with them for years, and their team is just phenomenal,” remarked Stripp.

In addition to Mira, Zogics works closely with several key technology partners. Stripe powers fast, secure transactions. HubSpot aligns sales and marketing. Klaviyo delivers targeted email campaigns. ShipperHQ manages complex shipping logic, including multi-address orders and custom rates. Redo helps optimize site performance, and Noibu monitors and resolves ecommerce errors to protect the customer experience.

With BigCommerce at the center, Zogics has a stack that scales — and partners that make it feel effortless.

“BigCommerce has done a great job being open so we can tap in when we need to — with APIs and things like that. Ultimately, our partners help us achieve many different things,” said Stripp.

Staying visible in the age of AI search.

Zogics is adapting to the next evolution in product discovery, where AI-powered search platforms increasingly influence how buyers research and choose products.

With control over product-level schema, the team can structure product data in a way that makes it easier to surface across AI-powered search engines, without relying on extra tools or complicated workarounds.

BigCommerce gives Zogics the flexibility to manage and optimize structured data in the backend, supporting emerging practices like generative and answer engine optimization. To further strengthen performance and future-proof their storefront experience, the team is preparing to migrate to a headless architecture using BigCommerce Catalyst and Makeswift, with Feedonomics planned to support richer product data distribution over time.

“BigCommerce gives us the ability to work with that schema on the product level. It's a game-changer because if we didn't have that, we wouldn’t show up,” remarked Stripp.

Behind the scenes, they’ve layered Looker Studio dashboards to monitor how often they appear in AI results, track growth, and uncover opportunities in real time.

“Mira Commerce has been amazing. We’ve worked with them for years, and their team is just phenomenal.”

RESULTS

When the industry slowed, Zogics scaled.

In a time when many ecommerce brands struggled to maintain momentum, Zogic's portfolio of brands did more than just hold steady — they surged.

“Revenue is up 11%, and had a conversion rate lift of 124% YoY,” said Stripp. “That’s kind of amazing!”

Rather than relying on discounts or flash sales, Zogics focused on improving the experience for both customers and internal teams. With BigCommerce, they streamlined operations, simplified catalog and pricing management, and increased visibility in AI-powered search platforms.

“We’ve grown pretty much every year I’ve been with the company. I owe a large part of that to BigCommerce,” remarked Stripp.

LOOKING AHEAD

Taking B2B to the next level.

Zogics has already built a strong B2B ecommerce foundation. Now, they’re shifting into the next gear.

The team is getting ready to roll out BigCommerce B2B Edition, unlocking advanced features like buyer portals, quote management, and role-based permissions.

“We’re about to launch B2B Edition, and the journey’s been fantastic. It just keeps getting better,” remarked Stripp.

With BigCommerce as a partner, the future isn’t just possible — it’s already in motion.
