ALECIA launched their network of shoppable videos in September 2018 after 16 months of working with over 200,000 beta testers - becoming one of the first retailers to trailblaze BigCommerce’s headless commerce capabilities. Their platform combines original video content with shoppable content, so app users can buy the products they see in the videos within the ALECIA app. Their use of BigCommerce’s APIs to decouple their front-end content capabilities with their backend commerce engine created a platform that redefines the way consumers will shop on smartphones, tablets and computers.

To extend their brand to international audiences, Great Britain-based jewelry company Anchor & Crew took on four major site optimizations: Multi-language, multi-currency, diverse payment methods and social media accounts for each region.

By using BigCommerce subdomains and geo-responsive currencies, Anchor & Crew launched French, German and Spanish-lingual subdomains of the website — each connected with their respective regional social media accounts - to increase site traffic by 39% and orders by 13% year-over-year.

When Wreaths Across America wanted to create a way for loved ones to remember fallen U.S. veterans, they they worked with Diztinct, Inc. to use BigCommerce's extensive API, advanced product options, and multiple checkout options to carry out their vision of donating wreaths from one central website to graveyards across the country.

The new BigCommerce site saw a 34% increase in conversions, with 45,000 veterans being remembered and honored via the BigCommerce implementation.

They also created unique customer groups to handle employee and B2B purchasing with custom bulk order functionality.
