Paul Vaillancourt is the Chief Services Officer at BigCommerce, where he leads a global customer service and support organization across offices in Austin, London and Sydney.

As CSO, Paul has been instrumental in transforming his team from a modest 30-person tech support group to a 250-person organization providing multiple levels of professional services including support, implementation, account management and education. 

During his tenure at BigCommerce, Paul launched the company’s first NPS program, built support services dedicated to the developer community, and created a self-serve data migration application for small businesses, all of which his team continues to manage today.  

Over the course of his career, Paul has had more than 15 years of leadership experience running services teams. Prior to joining BigCommerce, he served as Senior Vice President of Contact Center Operations for Support.com. Paul has also held senior leadership roles at AuctionDrop, Intuit Incorporated, and Activant Solutions, where he was part of the company’s acquisition by a private equity firm.  

Paul is a staunch advocate for the Six Sigma discipline, and is personally certified as a Six Sigma Green Belt and an executive program leader. He lives in Austin, Texas with his wife.
