Mitch (@mitchellharper) is the co-founder and co-CEO of BigCommerce. Way back in 2007 he built what eventually became BigCommerce as you know it. Today he runs the company alongside Eddie and along with our 100+ team members, is passionate about helping businesses succeed with e-commerce. Mitch spends time between our Sydney and Austin offices and is giving the keynote at TechConnect 2012 in Sydney on April 19th. |
Last night two of our fearless leaders (Richard, our support manager and Steve, our HR/recruitment manager, both pictured in the immediate photo above) donned their finest suites and headed to the Westin hotel at The Domain here in Austin, Texas for the Austin Business Journal’s annual Fast50 awards ceremony.
We were all secretly hoping to rank in the top 20, so when we got word that we ranked number 3 we were over the moon. All of this hard work is paying off and is being noticed which is great for us as a continued fast growth company (we’ve grown 480% in the last 3 years and recently ranked as the 44th fastest growing software company on the Inc 5000 list for 2010).
Of course we’re nothing without our team of committed, focused, passionate staff, so a huge thank you to all of our amazing guys and gals – both here in Austin and in Sydney. Also a huge thank you to our clients (over 50,000 company-wide and over 8,000 for BigCommerce) – we appreciate that you put your trust in us and choose to power your businesses using our software.
