YundaDesk adds a live-chat widget to compatible BigCommerce storefronts and gives authorized support-team members read-only commerce context while they help customers.

After an administrator confirms storefront activation, YundaDesk uses the BigCommerce Scripts API to install its own functional, deferred storefront loader. Multi-Storefront merchants can enable or disable each compatible channel separately. Stencil and Catalyst 1.1 or later are supported in this release. Because the BigCommerce Channels API does not expose the installed Catalyst version, an administrator must confirm Catalyst 1.1 or later before activation. Blueprint and unverified headless storefronts are not supported.

YundaDesk reads store, customer, order, and product data needed for support context. It does not modify orders, refunds, inventory, customers, discounts, payments, or checkout. Cart and abandoned-cart context begins only after the app is installed and its webhooks are active; historical carts are not backfilled.

BigCommerce user identity never grants access to a YundaDesk workspace by itself. Each user must sign in to an existing authorized YundaDesk membership, and administrative changes require the appropriate workspace permission.
