BigCommerce Formalizes Patronage for the British Fashion Council Foundation, Jim Herbert Joins Advisory Board

Open SaaS ecommerce company champions rising talent, sustainability and ethical fashion through its latest investment in the British fashion industry

AUSTIN, Texas – May 16, 2022 – BigCommerce (Nasdaq: BIGC), a leading Open SaaS ecommerce platform for fast-growing and established B2C and B2B brands, today announced it has become an official patron of the British Fashion Council (BFC), a not-for-profit organization created in 1983 with the role to strengthen British fashion in the global economy as a leader in responsible, creative businesses. The company also announced Jim Herbert, senior vice president and general manager of EMEA at BigCommerce, will join the BFC’s Industry Advisory Board which delivers top-level guidance on industry best practices around key topics including sustainability and diversity in the industry.
