BigCommerce Launches Three Major Enhancements to B2B Edition

We are thrilled to announce the launch of the latest enhancements to B2B Edition! Merchants are now able to enjoy Multi-Storefront compatibility, a new “Buyer Portal”, and we are kicking off the beta phase for B2B Edition’s Headless compatibility! There’s a lot to be excited about, let’s dive into the details.

What’s included in B2B Edition’s new enhancements?

The new enhancements — Multi-Storefront compatibility, new Buyer Portal, and closed beta for Headless support — are game changers! Let’s dive into the details:

Multi-Storefront Compatibility: Now, you’ll be able to seamlessly manage multiple storefronts, centralize their eCommerce operations, and reach new markets and customers while reducing operational costs.

Buyer Portal: With Multi-Storefront for B2B Edition, merchants can activate B2B Edition using any Stencil storefront theme, not just the 6 pre-installed options. Merchants can use the B2B Edition features on multiple storefronts, giving them the flexibility to build bespoke customer experiences by segment/region/verticals reaching different customer segments and expanding their B2B business, all managed within a single system.

Headless Support for the Buyer Portal (Beta): Merchants can now seamlessly integrate B2B functionality like quotes, invoices, and approval workflows to their headless framework of choice. Developers can personalize customer experiences using the Buyer Portal JavaScript API for a headless implementation (as opposed to using the Buyer Portal with a Stencil storefront).
